Kinesiology taping

Kinesiology taping is an adjunctive therapy that Dr. Lindsey likes to use in conjunction with chiropractic treatment and other therapies. You may have seen Rocktape or KT tape on Olympic or Crossfit athletes on TV. This fabric tape can be utilized for a number of different purposes. It may be used to reduce pain, provide light support, decrease swelling, and speed healing. It may also be used as a corrective cue to improve biomechanical abnormalities in things like a squat pattern or gait. It can be used to help with flat feet or fallen arches. The uses for kinesiology tape are endless, but Dr. Lindsey has seen great results with taping the following conditions:

  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Shin Splints
  • Tennis/Golfer’s Elbow
  • Ankle Sprains
  • Bruises
  • Chronically swollen ankles
  • Knee pain
  • Shoulder pain
  • Neck & Back pain
